Hi, I’m Teresa and I am thrilled to have you here. Teresasroses is a personal journey, a creative outlet, and a space where beauty, growth, and inspiration come together.

From Law to Design: My Story

My path to starting TeresasRoses has been anything but conventional (or maybe nowadays this becomes the new conventional). I began my professional career in the world of law and finance, specialising in VAT as a tax lawyer. After years of rigorous work, first as an intern at PwC Poland and then as an associate lawyer in PwC Norway, I reached a breaking point. The stress and pressure took a toll on my mental and physical health, leading to a major breakdown and a subsequent one-year sick leave.

During this time, I took a step back to reassess my life and career. I realised that while I was quite good at my job, it didn’t fulfil me. My everyday was eating me up... I felt like I needed something more creative, something that aligned with my passions and brought joy into my life. I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, learning new skills, and rebranding myself.

The Impact of the Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic added another layer to my journey. Living abroad, I was unable to reconnect with my family, which left me feeling really stuck and isolated. This experience highlighted the importance of having the freedom to relocate and stay connected with loved ones. I knew I wanted to shift to a career that offered more flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere.

Discovering a New Passion

In my quest for a new path, I discovered Flux Academy, where I delved into web design and found an incredible community that reignited my passion for creativity. Alongside web design, I explored interior design and found myself captivated by the transformative power of aesthetics and design.

The Birth of TeresasRoses

Thus, TeresasRoses was born. The name reflects both my personal identity and my deep appreciation for roses—symbols of love, beauty, and achievement. Just as a rose can brighten a room, I believe that thoughtful design can transform our living spaces and our lives. Through TeresasRoses, I aim to share my journey, inspire others, and create a community where we can explore the beauty in all aspects of life.
